Meisel Stringed Instruments is making a “case” for superior value with its new Meisel 1917 Violin Case. An oblong violin/viola case, the Meisel 1917 is stylish, durable, ultra-protective and loaded with convenient features -- at a price that’s highly affordable.

Attractive and elegant looking, the Meisel 1917 features a plush burgundy velvet interior with a sleek black nylon case cover. In addition to housing instruments, the case has ample room for all the musician’s other necessities, including an extra large sheet music compartment,  two bow holders, and an automatic-closing accessory pouch.

Easy to transport, the Meisel 1917 offers two carrying options.  There are two shoulder straps for backpacking, plus a side handle for those who prefer suitcase-style carrying.  Sturdy and durable, the case features eight protective metal feet, a secure locking latch with a weather flap, and air suspension to safeguard against shock damage.  A blanket is included for added protection.

“Everything about the Meisel 1917 has been designed to make it easy for students to carry their instruments and accessories to school, practices and performances, while providing maximum protection to delicate stringed instruments,” said Neil Lilien, president of Meisel Stringed Instruments.  “The case includes many extra features that you’d expect to see only on more expensive models.”

The Meisel 1917 Violin Case is offered in a wide range of fractional sizes for students of all grade levels.  It is available in 4/4 through 1/8 violin and 12” through 14” viola.
