Meisel MMT-402 Multi-Function Tuner Ensures Perfect Pitch, Exact Tempos

Meisel Stringed Instruments has introduced the new MMT-402 digital tuner, featuring a built-in metronome and tone generator. Highly accurate and extremely portable, this versatile device helps musicians achieve precise intonation and perfect tempos both in the practice studio and on stage.

The MMT-402 tuner comes with an innovative heavy-duty built-in stand that keeps it from accidentally tipping over. A sleek and stylish exterior design further sets it apart from other tuners in its class.

Suitable for virtually any instrument and voice, the MMT-402 has a tuning range of 27.5Hz to 1760Hz. Its tuning accuracy is 2 cents, tolerance is ±0.5 cents and the calibration mode is 435Hz to 445Hz in 1Hz steps. The MMT-402 features a sensitive built-in mic for acoustic tuning. Electronic instruments can be plugged directly into the unit via a 1/4" input jack.  Unit also includes a 2.5mm earphone jack.

The metronome function of the MMT-402 has a wide tempo range of 30–260 beats per minute. It offers 7 rhythm choices, and its beat count can be set to 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 or 9 depending on the measure and accents of the desired time signature. The unit’s handy and clearly audible tone generator is 12-note chromatic. A convenient volume control lets users set the metronome and tone generator to levels appropriate for use everywhere from noisy live-performance venues to extremely quiet studio environments.

Other great features of the MMT-402 include auto power off to ensure longer battery life and a wide-screen LCD with three bright LCDs. As an added bonus, the tuner holds all current settings in memory when it’s turned off.

The Meisel MMT-402 measures 3.88" wide by 2.4" high by .56"deep. It weighs only 2.6 ounces when installed with 2 AAA batteries (included).
