These fully carved instruments are beautifully balanced and finished in rich shaded varnishes with carved flamed maple back, sides and carved spruce tops with ebony fittings. Our student instruments range in size from 12" to 16 1/2".

Made for the advanced student, these instruments feature fully carved flamed maple sides, back and neck, ebony trimmings and a solid carved spruce top. A properly proportioned bass bar provides a rich, full sound. |

These moderately priced violas include ebony pegs and fingerboard, offering the musician a well proportioned instrument. They are made in Germany using fully carved woods, ebony and Meisel's chrome steel strings. |
All Meisel violas feature solid carved tops and backs, solid ebony fingerboards, and ebony hardware. They are shop adjusted on our premises to exceed MENC specifications.
